Description:

A leading medical device and technology company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Software Technology Solutions PMO. This role is crucial for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the successful commercialization of innovative medical software products. The Project Manager will lead Agile/Scrum teams, manage project scope, schedules, and resources, and ensure cross-functional alignment for product launches. Acting as a Scrum Master, the Project Manager will provide servant leadership, facilitate program planning, and align product value propositions with strategic business objectives. This role requires synthesizing complex information, communicating business implications to stakeholders, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Project Manager will focus on software teams developing and maintaining embedded software for medical devices, ensuring these products meet regulatory standards and market needs. Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee project lifecycles across departments, ensuring effective communication, managing timelines and budgets, and promoting Agile best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare
Experience as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master to provide comprehensive leadership to development teams.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as the organization will be adopting SAFe soon.
Medical Device/Healthcare background preferred to ensure understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS to manage cloud and SaaS programs
Background supporting technical teams with an understanding of system-level design and message flow
Bachelors degree in a relevant field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Software as Medical Device (SaMD).
Knowledge of Medical Device Design controls (IEC 62304, IEC 60601-1).
Experience managing Cloud and SaaS programs.
Understanding of documentation processes (IEC 62304).
QMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance and quality standards (desired, not required).
