Project Manager Job Description
Primary Responsibility: Single source responsibility to ACCO and the customer.
Project Management Functions:
Promote and finalize sales (concept engineering, estimates, proposals, meetings).
Manage contracts (sales, estimating, procurement, execution).
Schedule field labor and installation sequencing.
Financial Management:
Understand job financials (forecasting, budget projection, cost control).
Provide necessary documentation (letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders).
Handle billing and job cost tracking.
Relationship Management:
External: Lead client meetings, develop contracts, maintain relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and the industry.
Internal: Supervise and coordinate efforts across departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, Service).
Communication:
Consult with ACCO personnel (Management, Department Heads).
Attend Project Management Sales and Construction Meetings.
Schedule and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
Resource Utilization:
Coordinate staff from all departments for each project.
Manage and supervise project employees.
Mentor others, participate in recruiting, training, and coaching.
Other Duties:
Special assignments as directed by upper management.
Salary Range: $140,000 to $180,000, depending on experience.

Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
10+ years in estimating, design, and management of Commercial Electrical projects.
Demonstrated experience/ability to develop new business.
Skills:
Ability to operate independently and autonomously.
Strong interpersonal and project management abilities.
Strong organizational skills to handle a high volume of issues.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
P.E. in California
Desire to move into management
