Provide a short description of the Position: This position will support applications for the Office of Health Insurance Programs and will encompass various activities involving the collecting, massaging, and disseminating of data for purposes associated with the Medicaid program. Responsibilities could involve enhancements to current systems or development of new system components.
Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Tasks to be performed include but are not limited to: 1) Writing/updating server-side, web-based applications for centralized systems in the HCS WebLogic environment using Java Enterprise. 2) Writing/Updating stand-alone Java programs used for data ETL. 3) Leveraging DB Objects in an Oracle database. 4) Modifying or transitioning programs currently written in cgi/perl.
