Job Description:
  • Oversee the successful delivery of medium to large custom software consulting projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence in a fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous project environment
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, manage and deliver project phases with detailed reporting, and negotiate scope changes to ensure successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with business development teams to define proposal content, establish workstreams, and validate project estimates to support accurate planning and successful delivery
  • Develop and update technical design specifications, create new deliverables, and identify and implement best practices to drive project success
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to guide strategic decisions
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the functional domain of client projects
  • Mentor project team members and direct reports
Experience:
  • BA/BS degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of professional service, software consulting, and/or SaaS experience, with at least 2 years of experience managing and leading direct reports
  • Software application development experience is required
  • Great attitude, work ethic, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Proven experience managing multiple, large-scale software implementation projects across industries
  • Experience coordinating with and/or managing offshore software development teams is required
  • In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle, project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and enterprise software solutions, PSM/CSM preferred
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and CRM systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise software applications (ERP, CRM, BI tools)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to context switch and work on a variety of projects
  • Ability to work in-office with hybrid work flexibility after 90 days, and occasionally onsite at client offices
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel to client sites may be required, typically 1 week per quarter or less
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to prove eligibility at the time of hire
