In this position you will be responsible leading our clients and organization through the complexities associated with merging a retirement plan into an existing plan on the ADP Retirement Service recordkeeping platform. This will include coordinating and working with all parts of the Retirement Services organization (including Legal, Operations, Client Service, Finance, Product Marketing, Investment Services, New Business, etc.) to outline and document the client requirements for seamless administration by our organization.

The role also entails being the project manager on the various types and sizes of Retirement Plans as they are assigned. Project types can include converting outside assets from other providers, converting participants records, and adding participants to our database, due to a company acquisition.

As part of the Specialized Merger Acquisition Retirement Team (SMART), the Client, Financial Advisor, and Retirement Services organization rely on the expertise and guidance of the associates within this team. The ability to communicate and solution complex requirement is essential in being successful in this role. A solid understanding of the 401(k) industry and ADP's processing capabilities is required.

What you'll do: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:
  • Prepare detailed business requirements for clients who have acquired a company with an outside retirement plan or outside participants who are eligible to participate in a plan maintained by ADP Retirement Services.
  • Provide project management for all clients who are on-board new assets and/or new participants to the ADP platform.
  • Facilitate all meetings and communication with clients, financial advisors and ADP key stakeholders that ultimately will assist toward the success of the transition.
  • Define and document all client "nuances" or special processing requirements, and ensure an agreed upon solution with all parties (Client, advisor, stakeholders)
  • Weekly reporting on status and clients/projects at risk.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
  • 10 plus years of related experience
  • Knowledge and experience in retirement 401(k)

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
