Your role

The Insurance and Annuity Specialist will provide support to advisors across Wealth Management utilizing insurance and annuity solutions to meet clients investment and income needs in the context of financial and retirement planning. The ability to work across the lines of business and across functions is paramount in delivering our world-class Wealth Management platform. The candidate must be familiar with the insurance and annuity industry, and can effectively manage between sales and service support needs of the product.

Your responsibilities would include:
responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with advisors and field leaders to increase adoption/sales of insurance and annuity solutions
conduct calls with financial advisors and clients on insurance and annuity products acting as their specialist
collaborate with advisors to include insured solutions as part of a financial or retirement plan for clients with the ability to educate advisors on delivering insurance and annuity solutions
executing on proactive call campaigns as well as responding to inbound product calls
provide proactive and reactive advice for advisors and field leaders on insurance and annuity products and structuring
coordinating, planning, and presenting both internal and external educational events for financial advisors
maintain an effective relationships with internal and external insurance company partners to help drive business and increase activity
develop and maintain, training and educational materials designed to support the insurance and annuity businesses

Your team

This role resides in the Insured Solutions Group, a subset of the Advisory and investment products group within UBS Wealth Management Americas. You will join a team of insurance and annuity specialists, recommending, and advising advisors and field leaders on insurance solutions.

Your expertise

Do you:
have strong insurance and annuity sales experience
a Bachelor degree
possess 5+ years of experience in financial services
possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including financial advisors and potentially clients
possess excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills
have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment
Are you:
a team player, ready to contribute to, learn from, and thoughtfully challenge oneself and others as a member of the Insured Solutions Team
willing to travel to key markets when necessary (up to 25%)

Required Licensing:
FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required
Active Life & Health insurance license
