Job description

Infosys is looking to hire a Palo Alto Networks Solution Specialist for Cyber Security practice, who will drive the business development of our managed security offerings in the areas of (i) Security Operations Center (SOC), (ii) Network Security & SASE (Secure Access Secure Edge), (iii) Managed EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) (iv) Cloud Security. As a Palo Alto/Sales Solution Specialist, you will lead responses and proposals against client RFXs as a domain expert, collaborating closely with various teams such as solution design, program management, and transformation consulting groups. You will also work with various sales groups to find opportunities for proactive pursuits with prospective and existing clients. Your objective will be to acquire new clients and increase revenue from existing ones.

In this role, you will serve as the "go-to" solution expert on SOC, SASE, EDR & Cloud Security for customers and the account sales teams working with those customers. The ideal candidate will possess both a hunter mindset and solution architect background to drive engagement with decision-makers and influencers within security, networking, IT and operations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security or Cloud Security Solutions, preferably in services companies / GSI (Global Systems Integrators).
Deep knowledge of domains such as SOC (Security Operations center), network security, IT security and zero trust (while not a technical solution engineering role, a background in and/or understanding of the technologies underlying SOC, SASE, End point detection & response, as well as Cloud Security is important).
The ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and influence their decisions.
The ability to work with a diverse and cross-functional team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Engaging with client leaders, understanding their requirements, addressing them in the proposal with a focus on Zero Trust approach, presenting the proposals, taking client feedback and improving proposals.
Creating and delivering high-quality content for webinars and whitepapers to showcase Infosys thought leadership.
Participating / leading Analyst RFIs to ensure Infosys is placed in the Leaders quadrant and improves its position year on year.
Taking part in or leading cross-functional initiatives across the organization to support the unit's goals.
Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:
The ability to identify win themes and link them to the proposed solution.
Knowledge of key market players/competitors in the cybersecurity and Zero Trust solution spaces.
Experience in selling or supporting the sales of cyber security, network security or cloud security solutions is good to have.
Coaching and mentoring junior team members who are part of the pursuit teams and developing their skills and capabilities.
Planning and Co-ordination skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
