We're looking for an AI Programmer to design and build scalable, cross-platform AI systems that will influence the quality of the player experience. Your efforts will help us engage with our players and ensure we are delivering a compelling game.
As an AI Programmer, you will...
Research and develop cutting-edge methods to architect real-time strategy AI systems at multiple levels, including units, squads, and systems for both multiplayer and campaign-based gameplay
Collaborate with designers to analyze new game features and implement solutions using data-driven, modular AI systems
Maintain and enhance tools for AI automation, development, and debugging
Optimize AI functionality to meet CPU and memory performance budgets
Establish and ensure AI development best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient AI systems
You are a great fit if you have...
Successfully contributed to the development and implementation of AI systems for shipped AAA titles on PC or console, particularly higher-level reasoning and planning
The ability to identify and address complex AI-related challenges, meeting gameplay needs while optimizing performance and functionality
Worked closely with Designers, Developers, and other team members to integrate AI systems seamlessly into games
Strong proficiency in the C++ language
A desire to learn and grow with us

Compensation
The salary range for this position in British Columbia is between $76,000 and $150,000 CAD a year based on a 40-hour work week. This range reflects mid to senior ranges combined. The salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, knowledge, skills and competencies, and business or organizational needs.
