JOB SUMMARY:
Our public sector client is embarking on a transformative journey to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP Private Cloud. We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee this strategic initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementations, cloud migrations, and managing large-scale projects within the public sector.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the end-to-end SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration using RISE with SAP Private Cloud, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timelines, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, SAP partners, system integrators, and internal IT teams, to ensure seamless migration and adoption.
Oversee data migration strategy, including data cleansing, validation, and cutover planning.
Ensure compliance with public sector regulations, security policies, and data governance standards.
Manage system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training programs to facilitate smooth transition and adoption.
Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and proactively address project roadblocks.
Drive change management strategies to ensure business continuity and user adoption post-migration.
Provide regular project status updates, reports, and executive briefings to stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP project management, including at least 3 SAP S/4HANA migration projects (preferably in the public sector).
Extensive experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Option) and cloud-based SAP deployments.
Proven ability to manage full-cycle SAP implementations and migrations, including project scoping, blueprinting, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Strong understanding of public sector processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile project management frameworks.
Expertise in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional team leadership.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
