Position Title: Logistics Management (Multi Levels)

Location: San Antonio, TX

Position Type: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, or execute logistics management operations by planning, coordinating, and evaluating the logistical requirements necessary to support specific missions, weapon systems, or other programs. This includes identifying the necessary resources (financial, manpower, materials, facilities, and services) to support the program and ensuring these resources align with program schedules and objectives.
  • The role requires:
    • A strong understanding of the acquisition life cycle and product support planning throughout each phase.
    • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.
    • Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes as outlined in DoD 5000.
    • Familiarity with the DoD's integrated product support element framework.
    • Knowledge of the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes.
    • Experience with conducting Logistics Health Assessments (LHA).
    • Understanding of policies and procedures related to government-furnished equipment (GFE) programs.
    • Familiarity with the inventory and tracking of accountable property.
    • Leadership skills to guide a project team through complex tasks.
    • Knowledge of program planning, funding, and management systems within the agency.
    • A broad understanding of logistical support functions within an organization.
    • Ability to coordinate efforts among functional specialists to identify needs and develop plans and schedules to ensure timely execution.
    • A key requirement is the ability to integrate various logistics functions when planning or implementing a logistics management program.
    • Other tasks as assigned.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • An active Secret security clearance is required; some positions may require a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Positions are available at both Journeyman and Senior levels.

Journeyman Level:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, 3 of which must be in DoD; or
  • 7 years of directly related experience, with at least 5 years in DoD.

Senior Level:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with 10 years of experience in the relevant discipline, 5 of which must be in DoD; or
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 12 years of experience, 5 of which must be in DoD; or
  • 15 years of directly related experience, with at least 8 years in DoD.
