We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Contracts to lead and oversee all contractual activities within Mobius. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in government contracting, extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFAR), and the ability to manage 5-10 contract professionals. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in policy development, risk management, and administration of prime and subcontract agreements.

This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in policy development, risk management, and administration of prime and subcontract agreements.
Duties of the Director of Contracts may include:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5-10 contracts professionals, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the full life cycle of contracts, including proposal development, negotiation, execution, and closeout for prime and subcontracts.
- Develop, implement, and enforce contracting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop, implement, and manage contracts polices and processes as documents in corporate ISO-9001 policies and procedures.
- Serve as primary point of contact for contractual matters, interfacing with government agencies, prime contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on contract modifications, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
- Work closely with legal, finance and operations teams to ensure contractual obligations are met efficiently.
- Conduct training and policy briefings for internal teams on contracting best practices and compliance requirements.
- Stay current with changes in government regulations and adjust company policies accordingly.
- Support business development and proposal teams by reviewing solicitations, preparing risk assessments, and advising on contract strategy.
- Implement and Manage Digital Contracts Management and support Operations Systems
Qualifications
- 10 + years of experience in government contracting, with a strong background in FAR, DFARS, and other federal acquisition regulations.
- Proven experience in policy development, contract negotiation, and administration of prime and subcontracts.
- Strong leadership experience, managing and mentoring teams of 5-10 employees.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Experience with government agencies (DoD, GSA, DHS, etc.) and subcontractors.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or DAWIA Level III in Contracting or a Plus
Clearance
- Active security clearance (Secret, Top Secret or higher ) is a plus.
