This position is with the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations Air Vehicle Design, Release and Labs (AVDR&L) team. The AVDR&L team develops software solutions that are used by our engineering design teams to simplify the design process. This position is for an experienced 3DExperience PLM Software Engineer to be a technical lead for the 3DX PLM development at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

The successful candidate will establish the team's ability to create, develop, maintain, and retire 3DExperience configurations and customizations. They will be responsible for direct PLM customization and configuration development, code standards, code reviews, and implementation patterns. They will work with the team's 3DX Architects for categorization of existing code base, long-term strategy, and capability lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational interactions. Travel to Lockheed Martin facilities for planning and internal customer interaction is anticipated periodically.

US Citizenship Required

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM discipline or equivalent experience
U.S Citizenship with the ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Government Clearance
5+ years development experience on 3DExperience (3DX) in Unified Typing, Netvibes Dashboards / Widgets with OOTB APIs, Exalead Indexing, JPO, MQL, TCL
Java Development experience
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Effective communication skills (Verbal and Written)

Desired skills
3DExperience development experience for 10+ years with multiple implementations of 3DX, including one as lead developer
3DX experience in Aerospace and Defense industry or other regulated industry
Experience in source code management, including merging and branching strategies
Experience with 3DX Native Client or CATIA V5 development (CAA, .NET API, EKL)
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (Ansible Core / Tower, YAML, Cloud services and automations, Test Driven Development, Automated Testing)

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
