EMC Info-archive is the key skill required. Candidate must explain the expertise in EMC infoarchive and archiving

Provide SME level technical and Management for all EMC Info-archive projects

• Requirement Gathering, Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of decommissioning applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
• Technical Delivery Lead responsibility
• Analyze business data requirements to produce relevant ETL architecture deliverables (source analysis, source to target maps, ETL flows)
• Expert in Data Archiving Principles, processes, methodologies, tools and technologies
• Provides technical guidance and direction for each ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) project design and development deliverable and ensure documentation is produced using defined methodologies
• Well-verse with XML, xDB and xQuery tools to manipulate data into required form
• Well acquainted to Eclipse environment
• Develop, deploy and maintain jobs that extract, transform and load Data into EMC Infoarchive xDB
• Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the basic skills in the database systems of developing tables, indexes, constraints, tuning queries to obtain maximum performance where necessary, optimize the database code by analyzing query execution plans
• Liaise with projects managers and lead developers to assess project schedules and resource allocations needed to complete projects in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making
• Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
• Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates
• Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams
• Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues
• Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
• Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
• Will be expected to function as a mentor for junior developers, providing assistance where needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in information systems development
• 5+ years in Tech Lead or equivalent role, interfacing with senior management
• 3+ years proven experience with EMC infoarchive
• 3+ years proven experience with data archiving
• 5+ years of relevant experience in designing, developing and implementing ETL solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in XML/xDB/xQuery a must
• 5+ Years in Java development environment
• 5+ years' experience with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server Databases
• 5+ years of Tivoli (TWS) or equivalent job scheduling tool experience
• Strong ETL testing experience and verification utilizing SQL querying skills (PL/SQL, Toad or other tool) and formal testing methodologies
• 5+ years of experience in Java,J2ee,Eclipse, UNIX environment s
• 5+ years of experience creating detailed estimates and technical design specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on other large storage process s such as EMC
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Experience in working and leading with Offshore teams.
