Acosta Group is currently seeking a new Vice President to lead Commercial Growth opportunities for the Omnichannel Sales organization. This position reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. This is a critical position that will contribute to the company's overall strategic plan through both organic and inorganic growth. This position will bring fresh perspectives and ideas, including both challenging the existing thinking and opening new ways of seeing the market and opportunities. The Vice President will see ideas through from conception to strategy to reality, in service of growth for Acosta Group and its clients. This role will be highly visible to the organization, partnering closely with senior leaders to drive transformation and growth.
Responsibilities
Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:
Drive go-to-market and strategic plan to accelerate growth in Mass & Club channels Commercialize expanded set of sales and back-office services to help clients grow and expand margin Accelerate adoption of shared business services model for Acosta Group Drive innovation and operational excellence
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Relevant Industry Experience: The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of experience working in the CPG/Retail industry, either in a corporation or during their time in management consulting. Ideally will have 3+ years in management consulting. Relevant Functional Experience: Experience across growth strategy and operations required. Prior experience in multiple functions and transformation programs preferred. Structured & Logical Thinking: The ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run analysis. Ability to present complex concepts/ideas in concise, easy-to-understand terms is critical. Communication Ability:The ideal candidate will have the gravitas to influence and motivate senior stakeholders both internally and externally across a matrix organization. Executive Presence: The candidate will have a strong executive presence and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

- Refine go-to-market plan and operating model for Acosta Group at Walmart/Sam's, Target, and Costco. Plan and drive cross-BU strategy and initiatives at each retailer, including multi-agency programs and cross-sell initiatives
- Define multi-year Mass & Club growth strategy. Evaluate service offerings, competitive landscape, and potential inorganic growth opportunities. Develop and gain leadership alignment on organic and inorganic growth initiatives and investments
- Develop go-to-market plan, including service definition and value proposition, pricing methodology, sales/marketing content, and business development plan
- Design, launch, and stimulate cross-sell of innovative new services to solve client pain points
- Identify opportunities for Acosta Group functions to leverage Global Business Services platform
- Work with internal leaders and external service partners to build business cases, build consensus, and influence senior stakeholders
- Improve agency productivity and efficiency by driving adoption of best practices, standardization, training and tools
- Execute client engagement/feedback loops to drive strategic insights and operational changes
