The Manager Physician Operations is responsible for supervision of clinic practice managers. They implement and monitor clinic goals. Provides front line management and monitoring of daily activities of the clinic practice managers and in some instances front line staff for clinics within the INTEGRIS Medical Group (IMG). The area Practice Administrator is responsible for special project implementation related to practice start up to include budgeting, contacting and procurement. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. Responsibilities
The Manager Physician Operations responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Manages the Practice Managers to include hire, evaluation and discipline as necessary.
* Develops and manages annual business plan and budgets for a minimum of 3 sites, including specialist physicians, cardiology, hospitalists, etc.
* Develops and implements site performance goals and objectives for improving patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Recommends clinic facility improvements including construction, renovation and purchase of equipment.
* Ensures confidentiality for all the aspects of the business operations as it relates to physician support and uses discretion in the handling of all information.
* Manages department staff, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
Reports to the assigned Director This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Business or a related field. 4 years of clinic experience to include 2 years of supervisory experience may be accepted in lieu of bachelors degree.
* 5 years experience in health care administration to include extensive knowledge of general management theory. For regional clinics, related healthcare experience within the INTEGRIS system will be considered in lieu of 5 years experience in health care administration.
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
* This job requires the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Drivers License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
