The NYMIR Bodily Injury Claims Examiner will manage an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies.

Pay Range
$85,000 - $110,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.

Brown & Brown is seeking a NYMIR BI Claims Examiner to join our growing team in Garden City, NY!
The NYMIR Bodily Injury Claims Examiner will manage an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies.
How You Will Contribute:
- Managing an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies
- Providing superior customer service
- Obtaining favorable claim conclusions through coverage-determination, investigation, evaluation, communication, reporting, reserving, negotiation, and subrogation.
- Excellent skills in investigating, evaluating, communicating, computer use and time management
- Ability to work independently and effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departments
Licenses and Certifications:
- NY General Adjuster's License
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- Associates or bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Relevant experience handling third-party bodily injury and property damage claims
- Relevant experience and knowledge of business of claims adjusting and basic coverages

$85,000 - $110,000 Annual
