Title: Senior Construction Manager
Start Date: June 19, 2025
End Date: June 28, 2030
Location: Midwest, USA
Per Diem: TBD, for meals, lodging, administrative or other expenses.
Expenses: airline, vehicle rental or other travel costs.
Scope: Consist of 2 co-located 1x1 combined cycle generation units totally approximately 1,473 MW. Each combined cycle unit will utilize advanced class combustion turbine generators (CTGs), fully fired heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), steam turbine generators (STGs), air-cooled condensers (ACCs), and associated substation/switchyard and transmission lines.

Role: Act as the Owner's representative, overseeing construction, commissioning, and startup of a large-scale power project, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Construction Manager - Power Generation
Role: Act as the Owner's representative, overseeing construction, commissioning, and startup of a large-scale power project, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Ensure execution aligns with contracts, regulations, and safety standards.
- Onsite Leadership: Start in Bismarck, ND (2025), then transition to the project site. Travel required.
- Safety & Compliance: Lead HSE adherence, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Manage Owner, EPC, contractors, and vendors to resolve design, procurement, and construction issues.
- Contracts & Budget: Develop contract strategy, oversee costs, mitigate risks, and validate payments.
- Commissioning & Startup: Ensure seamless transition to operations.
- 12+ years managing large-scale power plant construction (preferably combined cycle).
- Expertise in EPCM, contracts, procurement, scheduling (Primavera P6), and HSE standards.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, OSHA Safety Training preferred.
- Start: Q1/Q2 2025 | Duration: ~54-60 months.
- Reports to: Owner's Project Coordinator | Interfaces with: Owner, contractors, vendors.
- Owner Provides: Laptop, vehicle, PPE, office setup, project data access.
