The incumbent will manage the entire quality system and final measurement departments.
The incumbent leads the WCM efforts at the Northampton site in the areas of safety, cost, quality, and delivery of existing/new products, processes, and methods.

Essential Functions:
- Ensures the continued training of Quality personnel and the development of methods
- Acts as the management representative for all ISO9001 & ISO14001 registration and audits, conducting audits of the ISO9001 & ISO14001 systems while implementing corrective and preventative actions where required
- Maintains the specifications associated with customers and that all material processed in the facility conforms the requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams while managing new product introduction projects, working to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Improve the site's utilization and process capability principles to control manufacturing proactively to ensure product quality.
- Work closely with the Sales, and Customer Service functions to ensure that process changes are aligned with customer needs.
- Support the businesses to manage and resolve technical issues related to the customers, support plant process/product engineering as required, interface with R&D as required, initiating specification changes as needed, and support customer service to ensure customer satisfaction through interactions on customer concerns and complaints.
- Leads the continuous improvement program and the standardization of processes and procedures. Frequently interacts with production personnel to evaluate and solve production problems and to advise on process capability and customer demands.
- This position requires a thorough knowledge of quality and engineering principles and theories, as well as their application.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Required
- 2-5 years Experience in a manufacturing environment working with quality systems, Required
- Management experience, Preferred
- Demonstrated Understanding Statistical methods especially relating to SPC or Six Sigma Principles, Preferred
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other CRM systems, Required
