Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Valve Engineer II to join our New Product Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new product lines, including gate valves for slurry severe service, trunnion ball valves metal seated API 6D for severe service high temperature and high cycling, and API 6A ball valves rated at 15,000 psi. This role requires a solid understanding of valve engineering principles and industry codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new valve products, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications.
Oversee prototype development and testing, analyzing results and making necessary design adjustments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in valve design and development.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
Strong knowledge of industry codes such as API 6D, API 6A, MSS-SP-81, and ASME codes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
