Responsibilities & Skills
Lattice is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Global Operations and Quality (GOQ) group to assist the manufacturing engineering team with semiconductor wafer and IC package test operations for current and next generation FPGA silicon IC products. Candidate will work with a variety of ATE systems, wafer sort probers, package device handlers, finish mark equipment, and scanners.
Primary Responsibilities
Prober and handler installation, setup, repairs, maintenance, and support for ATE automated testing
ATE testing of wafers including handling of wafer loading/unloading
ATE testing of packaged semiconductor ICs (both hand test and handler operation)
Confer with product and test engineers to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical support
Investigate equipment failures to diagnose faulty operation and recommend next steps
Do trial runs to identify improvement processes or equipment/hardware changes
Marking IC packaged units using laser machine
Support engineering data collection activities
Shipping and receiving tasks
Ordering items via internal and external ordering systems
Requirements
4+ years of experience preferred
Proficiency using ATE equipment such as probers and handlers
Familiarity with MS Office environment to manage/create emails and create/update documents
Excellent verbal communication skills to enable clear communication with internal teams
Good organizational skills to enable multi-tasking and keep labs organized
