POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with management and staff to support HR functions across the organization. This role will focus on strategic initiatives, enhancing employee engagement, developing talent, and driving organizational effectiveness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field/ 10+ years in management level position with HR generalist experience, proven business partner with C-Suite (preferably experience in a fast-paced environment), including responsibilities for employee relations, compliance, talent development, compensation and benefit administration.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with UKG or similar HRIS
  • Detail oriented
  • High level of confidentiality and ability to maintain an impartial attitude
  • Strong business acumen and ability to be an HR partner to C-Suite
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset and ability to analyze impact

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Business Partner with C-Suite
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive workplace environment through effective communication and conflict resolution. Intricately involved in all performance improvement plans and processes.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Collaborate with recruiting team and hiring managers by reviewing final job descriptions. Conduct the HR interview for all appropriate candidates and provide candid feedback. Ensure a positive candidate experience while reviewing candidates for fit.
  • Onboarding & Training: Collaborate as needed with recruiting and L&D on onboarding programs for new hires and identifying training needs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Performance Management: Manage Supervisor/Colleague communications including, performance feedback, connections, evaluations, performance improvements, goal setting, etc., and provide coaching to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they meet employee needs and align with organizational goals and in line with compliance requirements. 401(k) administrative/fiduciary experience.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices and benefits administration comply with labor laws and regulations, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Data Management: Ensure team retains accurate employee records and HR databases, analyzing data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Organizational Development: Collaborate on initiatives to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
