Description:
As the VP of Sales - West Region, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading a high-performing sales team across the US Western region. You will oversee strategic sales planning, relationship management, and revenue execution while directly managing Sales Account Executive and Sales Associates who will support the West and Midwest US regions. Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the East region.
- Own and deliver on regional sales targets, ensuring team alignment with company revenue objectives.
- Establish a scalable sales structure, optimizing processes and pipeline management for predictable growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform decision-making and refine go-to-market strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Account Executives and Sales Associates of various experience levels, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Cultivate a high-performance sales culture focused on results, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Drive accountability across the team by implementing KPIs, sales methodologies, and best practices.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training efforts to ensure the team's success.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with key accounts.
- Define and implement account-based sales strategies to strengthen customer relationships and maximize lifetime value.
- Lead complex sales cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and executive-level presentations.
- Leverage data-driven insights to refine sales tactics and accelerate revenue generation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to align sales efforts with demand generation, branding, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Partner with the Technical and Services Teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer success.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide market insights, competitive analysis, and feedback to enhance product development and positioning.
Industry & Market Expertise
- Maintain deep expertise in DataXstream's products, solutions, and services, positioning the company as a market leader.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a focus on SAP solutions, ERP, or order management systems.
- Experience in building, mentoring, and leading high-performance sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the SAP ecosystem and the ability to navigate SAP partnerships and alliances.
- Expertise in managing complex, long sales cycles with enterprise clients
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Strong network and ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
- Experience with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred) and sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or Challenger Sales.
- Deep understanding of the US West market dynamics, industry trends, and competition.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
