Senior IT Project Manager
The Program and Project Management job organizes, plans and controls resources and processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Under limited supervision, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage small to moderate sized projects for the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Organizes project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.
  • Drafts the estimates of costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met.
  • Implements an established project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan.
  • Provides updates to management regarding the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
  • Resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
  • Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
  • Works with outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

The ideal candidate's experience is a blend of cybersecurity experience coupled with project management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in project management within Information Security or IT environments, waterfall and/or agile.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, financial reconciliation, and cost management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent certifications.
  • Proficiency with Project Management Tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
  • Experience with Business Analytics and Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience in the financial industry.
  • Project Management:
  • Plan, execute, and close cybersecurity projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met.
  • Develop detailed project plans, business requirements documents, charters, timelines, and status reports.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Financial Management:
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost tracking.
  • Perform financial reconciliation, including the review of invoices and budget variance analysis.
  • Partner with finance teams to report on project financials and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Oversee projects related to regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and cybersecurity resilience.
  • Ensure projects adhere to internal controls, security policies, and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with IT, Enterprise Risk, and other business partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and key milestones.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for senior leadership.

Hybrid work is a minimum of four days a week, with one flexible day for remote work.
