You will work across disciplines within the Aerospace business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform systems development and applications within the Integrated Flight Deck Systems (IFS) organization for key customer projects involving our Anthem avionics platform.
- Lead a team of systems engineers in the and development and execution of Hosted Applications on the Anthem system.
- Support operation of the EPIC and Anthem System Integration Labs (SILs).
- Generate, review, approve, and manage the applicable system requirements - including, but not limited to regulatory, safety, human factors, design, and operational requirements
- As a systems application engineer, provide technical support for development evaluations, field investigations, and customer technical support of various functional areas such as FMS, Displays, Comm/Nav, and others.
- Assist customers in the preparation and verification of the Hosted Applications in the course of aircraft integration and certification.
- Support overall project execution, customer interfacing, and Root Cause/ Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
MUST HAVE:
- 12 years of experience in development and integration of complex aerospace/avionics systems
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
WE VALUE:
- Degree in engineering
- Experience with Epic and Anthem based avionics systems or similar avionics products
- Familiarity of avionics applications for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters
- Familiarity with typical avionics functions such as FMS, Displays, Comm/Nav, ...
- Experience with DOORs, TeamCenter, and Technical Publication development
- Experience with Business and Regional customer requirements and development processes
- Experience with hardware design, test and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated communication, relationship and team building skills
- Master of Engineering preferred
- Action Oriented: Works hard, full of energy; not fearful of acting with best data even if incomplete; seizes opportunities when they arise
