FP&A Manager

A renowned University is seeking a FP&A Manager. The role supports the institution's budgeting and financial planning processes, working closely with the FP&A Director to monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and improve budget processes. Responsibilities include forecasting and analyzing contribution revenues, managing financial reporting tools, and providing ad hoc financial models and business metrics to support decision-making. The position also involves preparing contribution revenue accounting, coordinating with the Office of Advancement, and assisting in the annual audit process. Additionally, maintaining business intelligence dashboards with key financial and operational data is a critical function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least five years of experience in FP&A or data modeling, preferably in higher education or nonprofit finance.
• Strong financial analysis skills, experience with ERP systems (especially Oracle Cloud), Excel, and BI tools, and the ability to manage large data sets are essential.

Preferred Skills:

• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Power BI
• Oracle Essbase
• Power Query
• Power Pivot

Compensation: $135,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
