Description:
An insurance company in Portland, OR is looking for a 2nd VP to join the organization. This person will be a part of senior management, leading the strategic direction, risk management, mentorship, investment opportunities, and overall deliverables for the organizations core products. This person will be a part of executive meetings and must have a strong background as an FSA to speak on and lead the team effectively. Must have a strong background developing and executing an effective team. This role is remote in Portland, Oregon but expect travel around 8-10 times a year.
This role is full-time and includes full benefits, PTO accrual, paid holidays + wellness days, yearly bonus, and LTI accrual.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in ALM / ERM / Actuarial Governance / Capital Analytics or related field
- Bachelor's Degree and FSA
- Strong background leading strategic direction and empowering a successful team through competing priorities
- Core experience leading teams across the following topics:
- Cash Flow Testing
- ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) Policies
- Actuarial Modeling
- ALM (Asset-Liability Management) Strategy
- Capital Analytics
- Actuarial Governance
- Risk management frameworks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Additional financial / risk management credentials (CFA / PRM / CRM / CERA)
