Job Description

As the Director - Corporate Development, you will partner with business leadership and other company functional experts to drive strategic, value-creating acquisition, divestiture and venture investment transactions. You will provide project leadership on all aspects of the transaction, including target identification and development, due diligence, negotiations and valuation analysis. You will provide impactful strategic and analytical support to business leadership and provide appropriate analysis on key metrics critical to the transaction and makes critical, time-sensitive decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Directs and communicates key strategic, commercial and financial analysis to aid in business' decision making for the transaction, including due diligence analysis and reports, forecasts, financial models, investment analyses, and valuation analysis.
  • Serves as business partner at strategic level to enable business to make solid, informed decisions.
  • Delivers timely and accurate transaction-related information that is actionable and well understood within organization.
  • Effectively leads various sized transactions, working with group head on larger transactions as needed.
  • Provides insights from financial and market trends with business understanding of implications and opportunities for transactions.
  • Assembles, manages and consolidates reporting for a team of internal functional experts necessary to support the transaction
  • Works cooperatively and creatively with all available resources to complete strategic, high-value transactions in a competitive M&A market
  • Contributes to the development of Corporate Development group best practices and to the training and supervision of junior Corporate Development staff
  • Works cooperatively with members of the Innovation & Ventures team on venture investments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree - Accounting, Finance, or business related preferred
  • 8+ years required of finance, merger & acquisitions, consulting or venture investment experience
  • Working knowledge of finance including financial analysis, forecasting, and planning.
    Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate operating results to senior management across the organization
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions and teams across the business
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving background
  • Ability to influence business decisions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package.
