Job Description
Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Job Specialty: Cardiac, Vascular, or Thoracic Surgery

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days vary, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years within specialty

License: Current Nursing License

Certifications:
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must-Have: Experience in cardiac, vascular, or thoracic surgery

Job Description:
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room with a focus on cardiac, vascular, or thoracic procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by preparing the operating room and maintaining sterile techniques.
- Monitor patients' conditions during surgery and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of perioperative nursing activities.
- Educate patients and families about health management post-surgery.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills to provide high-quality care.
