Responsibilities:
- Manage or lead a team of DevOpsSec engineers to meet the needs in the above description.
- Being honest, clear and specific to drive the best performance from individuals.
- Proactively address conflicts that affect team dynamics.
- Support applications from inception through deployment and beyond.
- Scale security by reducing manual processes and the time it takes to lower risk.
- Automate risk decisions allowing self service tools to support CI/CD.
- Run continuous monitoring infrastructure to report on the compliance of our platforms and services.
- Run continuous detection and response infrastructure supporting real time attack mitigation.
- Proactively keep business resources secure through better measurement and scale.

Qualifications:
- Communicates with clarity and impact; engages others to build motivation, loyalty, and trust.
- Able to successfully plan, organize, motivate, and direct resources to get results.
- Focused in at least two of the following: Python, Perl, Java, and using APIs.
- Versed in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with Ruby, XML, SOAP, PHP, Java, JSON, SQL.
- Familiar with open source such as Chef, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, ELK, SiLK.
Experience
- 2+ years of technical people management experience with the ability to coach, guide and mentor.
- Supporting large scale server environments, preferably in the cloud.
- Upgrading, hardening, patching and installing software.
- Ensuring maximum uptime and availability of all applications.
- Troubleshooting and configuration management.
- Participating in on-call rotation and be willing to work off hours as required.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
