When you join BW Design Group as a Manager, Architecture, R.A., you are joining an ENR ranked AEC firm, that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You'll Do
You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.
- Provide client development, project execution and organizational leadership while mentoring and nurturing our professionals to enhance their careers in alignment with the firm's vision
- Develop a "Book of Business" of Architectural engagements
- Leverage your technical skills, expertise, and leadership skills to successfully deliver project deliverables that meet or exceed the client's expectations and build Client Trust
- Build relationships with the greater practice and market sector professionals, resulting in a cohesive and technically correct operational solution. This includes interfacing and resolving highly complex technical solutions with our firm-wide building, utility, process, packaging and construction professionals
- Provide strategic leadership in implementation of the BW Design Group Vision. This includes client presentations and developing marketing profiles, organizational planning, recruiting and implementation approach. Challenge and search for new value propositions, which strengthen & diversify the Firm and enhance the greater value provided to our clients
- The services we provide our clients requires our professionals to regularly be onsite, which may require travel, to ensure successful project execution.
What You'll Bring
- 12+ years of manufacturing sector architectural design experience with a proven ability to lead facility design from the programming/concept phase through the production of construction documents, permit acquisition, and site implementation on multi-discipline projects in an A/E environment.
- AEC experience in these manufacturing sectors: Food and Beverage, Consumer Health, Life Science (pharmaceutical, bio-pharmaceutical, medical device), Advanced Technologies
- Strong working knowledge of local, state and national building codes.
- Architectural experience in the development and creation of construction documents for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sectors or food and beverage industries desired.
- Knowledge/experience in design of both new Greenfield facilities as well as renovations to existing buildings.
- Knowledge/experience in design of ISO clean rooms, labs and processing spaces is highly desired.
- Knowledge/experience in design of cold storage and refrigerated processing environments.
- Experience in coordinating design with process engineers on industrial installations of production equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with our valued team members and clients.
- Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Education
- Bachelor of Architecture degree is required
- Master of Architecture degree is desired
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Architect license required
- NCARB desired
