Job Title: Solution Architect
Client: Location: Columbus, Ohio- Fully Onsite (Need Local/Relocation)
Position Type: Full Time (1 Year contract)
10 Year of Experience
Qualifications:
**Must have prior experience working on projects for public transportation planning and operations**
Candidate needs to have 10-12+ years of experience
The role requires a seasoned solution architect with expertise in building data warehouses and data lakes using modern data engineering techniques and architecture. This person is expected to be available full-time for this project with the following skills and responsibilities:
Expert in building data warehouses and analytics solutions using Snowflake.
Mastery in building Azure cloud solutions, especially using ADF.
Expert in GIT and branching strategies for Azure ADF.
Expert in administering Azure DevOps, including release management.
Knowledgeable in optimizing cloud operational costs.
Expert in Snowflake platform.
Expert in modern data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Expert in data protection, privacy, access control, and masking.
Embrace infrastructure-as-code and make sure all deployment and release activities are automated.
Accountable for the solution's architecture, design, non-functional, and quality requirements.
Expert data modeler responsible for conceptual, logical models that meet business needs today and can withstand the test of time.
Design a data platform to enable citizen analysts to perform self-service analytics.
Ensure metadata like data catalog, data lineage, and labels are captured.
Review and approve work in Snowflake and data lakes like DDL, metadata, and other scripts
Review and approve pull requests for all the development activities.
Assist with troubleshooting end-to-end solutions and help developers and testers.
Should be able and willing to participate in development activities throughout the solution's technology stack.
Should be an expert in Azure ADF, data pipelines, and Azure Integration run-time.
Should be an expert in integrations utilizing REST API, RDBMS, Snowflake, and other data sources.
Should have working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Should have a thorough understanding of GIT and branching strategies.
Manage code related to pipelines and infrastructures in GIT.
Perform unit tests.
