Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. The DON will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of excellence in resident care. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong clinical expertise and a passion for geriatric care.

• Provide strategic leadership to the nursing department, aligning nursing services with the facility's mission and goals.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Oversee quality assurance programs, conducting regular audits to monitor and improve patient outcomes.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, families, and administration to facilitate effective communication and address concerns.
