Job Title: Clinical Nurse

Shift: 5x 8's, 06:30 am - 3:00 pm with call
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Neuro & Robotic experience required
License: Current RN license applicable for the location
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Must-Have:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units.
- Ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the standards of the unit and organization.
- Demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization.
- Shows quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice.
- Treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
- Communicates in a clear and concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient.
- Responsible to the Patient Care Director or Manager.
- Requires handling emergency situations and considerable physical activity including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays; works in a clean, well-lit, ventilated, smoke-free environment.
- Must possess manual dexterity and fine motor coordination.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to patients' rights in the delivery of care.
