Water Resources Engineer

Job Description
Full-service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Water Resources Engineer to their Novi office!

Responsibilities:

• Develop/design water resource projects
• Develop/review plans and computations
• Ensure accurate, compliant, high-quality design work and construction plans
• Provide efficient design to ensure profitability and client schedules are met
• Assist department through development of time-saving design resources

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• 7+ years of water resource design experience
• PE or ability to obtain within four months
• Proficient in water resource design/hydraulic modeling
• Ability to learn/develop technical skills to complete unique and advanced design requirements on projects
• Knowledge of drinking water modeling, water distribution systems, storm water collection and plant facility designing
• Proficient in preliminary engineering reports
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Knowledge of funding sources and requirements

Salary is commensurate with experience.
