Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.

- Position is for an Automation Tester.
- This position will help maintain and grow functional and regression test suite.
- Will need to run manual testing at times.
- Will create automated tests to validate story functionality within a sprint.
- Will work closely with the developer to fix bugs and ensure code meets high quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- Experience in API testing.
- Knowledge of API concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of standard automation testing frameworks such as Cucumber, PyTest and Selinum.
- 8+ years of overall combined automation and functional testing experience with prior knowledge testing broadband or mobility network interfacing systems.
- 6+ years of experience in working in building automation testbed for back-end applications (experience in broadband CPE & network interactions is highly desired).
- 4+ years of experience with building automation testbed from start to end and using that for validation of the platform capabilities
- 3+ years of experience in working with Python, SQL and other NO SQL query languages, Selenium / Cucumber, ETL, etc
- Can work independently as a self-driving person.
- Detail oriented in execution and focused on testing from a customer point of view
- Must have good verbal and written communications Skills
