Lazard Financial Advisory Business Technology (FABT) is responsible for all applications that enable the Financial Advisory Division. This includes support of all aspects of the annual business lifecycle, client lifecycle, and deal management processes including CRM, Knowledge Management, Revenue Reporting, and Resource Planning.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Engineer/Analyst responsible for building, analyzing, enhancing, and supporting best-in-class, business-focused data pipelines, reporting, and analytics.

We'll trust you to:
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Use Alteryx to automate data workflows, perform complex data transformations, and facilitate advanced analytics.
  • Utilize PowerBI to create interactive and insightful dashboards to aid business decision-makers.
  • Create accountability among project team members to drive on-time delivery of project deliverables.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs in a clear and concise manner.
  • Continuously assess and recommend improvements in Data Analytics technologies and processes while staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in the data analytics industry.


You'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis and visualization using Alteryx, Snowflake, and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle and supporting Applications/Systems in financial services and/or banking is a plus.
  • Project management experience in technology or financial services industry is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases - experience with Python is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data Science, information systems, statistics, or a related field required; Master's degree is highly desirable.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $100,000-$140,000K USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
