The Role:
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the digital marketing strategy to reach implanting physicians, referring clinicians and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the global marketing and commercial teams to identify the needs for reaching each stakeholder group: implanting physicians, referring clinicians, patients, societies, payors
- Developing messaging, content and execution across digital channels including website, social media and digital education and sales tools
- Development of metrics for digital channels
- Implementation of SEO for website
Requirements:
- Website development, implementation and SEO
- Social media content development, execution and measurement
- Excellent communication skills-ability to work with cross functional groups and geographies to facilitate global campaigns
- Strong team player-ability to work as a key member of the global marketing team who is accountable to global marketing team, geographic colleagues and cross-functional partners
- Strong leadership skills-ability to function as the marketing "lead" on digital channel initiatives
- Project management skills-ability to manage complex projects and programs. Ability to pull the appropriate level, functional and geographic functions together to support initiatives.
- Analytical skills-ability to segment customer segments and develop metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of cardiovascular disease, physiology and products
- Experience in medical device upstream product marketing and therapy development
- Experience in global product launches and commercialization
- Knowledge/experience with customer base-cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses
- Understanding of implantable medical products clinical and regulatory process and environment
- Ability to travel 30-50%
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in digital marketing and communications
- Experience with marketing medical devices
- BS/BA in engineering, health sciences, marketing, business, communications
- MBA preferred
