Job Description:
Neurocritical Care APP (NP/PA)
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (Burlington, MA)
Join Our Team!
- Be a crucial part of our 9-bed Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU).
- Work with a team of 5 neurointensivists and 10 Advanced Practitioners.
- Immediate opening!
Your Role:
- Provide primary critical care in the NCCU.
- Collaborate with attending neurointensivists.
- Care for adults with neurological and neurosurgical critical illnesses.
- Key duties:
- Histories & physical assessments.
- Diagnostic & therapeutic plan development.
- Lab, imaging, & physiologic data interpretation.
- Clinical documentation.
- Invasive procedures (arterial/central lines).
We're Looking For:
- Critical care training.
- Neurocritical or critical care APP experience (ideal but not required).
- Dedication to excellent patient and family care.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work semi-autonomously.
- Enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and quality improvement.
- Qualifications: NP/PA license
