Elderwood Administrative Services is dedicated to maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-managed workplace. We are seeking a dedicated Regional Risk Management Consultant to join our team and play a key role in reducing risks and ensuring the well-being of our employees and organization.
Position Overview:
- The Regional Risk Management Consultant collaborates closely with the VP of Risk Management to support, maintain, and implement risk management initiatives that address the company's operational and strategic risks. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with organizational policies while promoting strategies to reduce and prevent risk across the company. This position requires travel to conduct site visits in support of proactive incident prevention efforts, audits, and mock inspections.
Responsibilities
Regional Risk Management Consultant:
- Manage and coordinate Workers' Compensation, Professional/General Liability, Auto, and other insurance line claims.
- Analyze trends and data to identify risk patterns and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Assist in developing risk mitigation programs to reduce incidents and associated costs.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and analysis processes.
- Manage return-to-work programs, OSHA recordkeeping, and Surety Bond administration.
- Provide guidance to locations regarding applicable policies, procedures, and relevant laws/regulations.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state compliance requirements, particularly those related to healthcare information privacy practices.
Qualifications
Regional Risk Management Consultant:
- Valid, current driver license for travel to site locations
- Associates degree and two years of experience in Risk Management, or a minimum of five years of experience in a Risk Management role
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Workers' Compensation insurance & claims handling required; multiline insurance experience preferred
- Demonstrable knowledge of State Workers' Compensation Laws and OSHA Recordkeeping
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and confidential handling of PHI required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft 365
