Job Description

Dhar Mann Studios, a leading Creator Economy company, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team as we expand our company organically and through M&A activity. This is a unique ground floor opportunity for an experienced finance leader with media industry experience and deep expertise in investment transactions to drive financial strategy and operational excellence in our fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capital management and structuring to provide for ongoing company growth and expansion.
• Assess M&A agreements, joint ventures, and investment initiatives to optimize long-term financial performance.
• Provide strategic financial vision to guide executive decision-making.

• Collaborate with key business unit stakeholders to optimize financial performance, manage risk, and ensure strategic alignment.
• Develop forecasting tools, dashboards, and key financial metrics to track the performance of various business units.
• Enhance financial planning processes to drive profitability and scalability.

• Oversee financial reporting, compliance, audits, and internal controls to ensure regulatory and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices for financial governance and risk management.
• Ensure transparency and accountability in financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably within the media industry.
• Passion for the Creator Economy.
• Expertise in investment transactions, M&A, equity and debt fundraising and corporate finance.
• Strong background in financial strategy, operations, and governance.
• Proven ability to drive business growth while managing financial risk.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working closely with executive leadership.
• Hands-on / in-the-weeds mindset to help cost effectively scale a young growth company to the next stage.
• CPA or CFA strongly preferred but not required.
