What you'll do:
SuperAwesome is looking for an experienced Ad Operations professional to oversee the execution and optimization of direct, PMP, social, and YouTube campaigns across North America. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless campaign delivery while balancing performance, delivery, and margin to maximize efficiency and GP revenue.
The ideal candidate has a strong background with DSP and a deep understanding of third-party tags, discrepancy resolution, and campaign troubleshooting. You will be the first point of contact for Sales and Account Management when it comes to Ad Operations, providing subject matter expertise and insights to ensure successful campaign execution.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive programmatic advertising strategy that aligns with client goals and objectives of mid to top tier clients across North American region
- Optimising direct, programmatic & social campaigns, providing ongoing communication to account management & sales
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate with account management, publisher development, product and sales to ensure campaign success
- Proactively support ad ops team members by sharing knowledge, globally and maintaining documentation
- Act as a technical expert on SA's ad serving technology; supporting campaign & creative troubleshooting, a/b testing and working to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Identify issues preventing campaigns from hitting KPI's and propose effective solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert in support of SuperAwesome's ad tech stack, ad format capabilities & limitations#
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in programmatic advertising.
Who you are:
- 6+ years of Adtech/digital ad operations or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of programmatic experience
- Experience in a queue management/ticketing system (JIRA/Freshdesk/Trello)
- Fluency with Google Suite (including Data Studio)
- Must have experience with VAST/HTML5 ad formats
- Experience with 3rd party tag vendors (DCM, Innovid, Moat, IAS, Sizmek, etc)
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Team player, with the willingness to collaborate and help the team succeed
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to support multiple projects & prioritize tasks
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a passion for digital marketing.
- Understanding of privacy laws and regulations (such as COPPA & GDPR)
- This position will be based in Chicago or NYC but requires working partly in west coast business hours, as needed.
