Our CV Institute spans across the state of Nebraska and includes CHI Health Omaha- Creighton University School of Medicine, Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney and more.
  • Join (2) Interventional and (2) Non-interventional; along with APP's in a thriving practice
  • The cardiologist will provide rotational services to our CHI Health St. Francis hospital in Grand Island, NE; and to the community hospital in Hastings, NE (only a 20 min drive). Both with cath labs
  • Peripheral opportunities if desired
  • Position is blended mix of Interventional and General cardiology; develop long lasting relationships

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information.
    • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
    • Perform procedures as needed
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
  • Quality Improvement:
    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
Pay Range
$316.34 - $362.98 /hour
