As a Risk Management Specialist, you will support the first line Technology Platform organization in managing their risks and risk-related activities, across multiple risk domains, primarily operational, technology and security. With the continuously changing risk and threat landscape, increasing demands of our external environment and our organization's strategic objectives, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team.

What to expect

In this role you will:

• Provide transparency and ensure accurate reporting of risks and risk-related activities to the Technology Platform Leadership team, including the Executive (CTO) and Senior Managers
• Build and foster meaningful relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders across all 3 lines.
• Assist 1st line in identifying, analyzing, evaluating and mitigating risks in alignment with Swift's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Strong collaboration with 2nd line Risk Partners and 3rd line Internal Audit team on a frequent basis to stay informed of and contribute to risk and audit activities
• Leverage a risk lens to assist with the preparation and review of Executive and Board material
• Manage the central process repository to ensure processes remain accurate and relevant

What will make you successful?

We are seeking professionals with:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' experience working in a similar role within Risk Management, Internal Controls or Audit & Assurance, and a keen interest to grow your expertise in Risk Management
• Excellent professional writing, editing and communication skills with emphasis on active listening skills and ability to tailor your style and tone to your audience (fluent English speaker)
• Stakeholder engagement and team player skills with ability to engage and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and subject matter experts
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Solution oriented, curious and willing to challenge and ask questions
• Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 products, Atlassian Confluence and Jira

Preferred qualifications:

• Relevant professional certifications (CISA, CRISC, CGRC, GRCP, ISO 31000 etc.)
