About You:

• You've been in the commercial lending world for 8+ years and have a proven track record of closing deals and managing portfolios.

What you will do:

• Oversee commercial lending activities, ensuring we meet financial and strategic goals while maintaining top-notch service quality. If something needs fine-tuning, you'll make it happen.
• Prepare loan department updates, track performance metrics, and analyze financial reports to ensure efficiency and growth. Your insights will drive smarter lending decisions.
• Develop and implement lending policies that keep us competitive and aligned with industry trends. You'll also champion new product development, making sure we stay ahead of the curve.
• Cultivate relationships with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and key decision-makers to grow our commercial lending portfolio.

• Structure and negotiate loan deals that make sense for both the business and the credit union. Win-win is the name of the game!
• Assess creditworthiness, market trends, and financial statements like a pro to keep our lending smart and sustainable.
• Be the face of our commercial lending team, engaging with local business networks, chambers of commerce, and industry events.
• Guide and inspire a team of commercial lenders to success, setting the standard for excellence.

Your experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required
• 8-10 years of experience in commercial lending
• Strong knowledge of hardware & software systems, networks, and application software development
