Description:
Contributes to the design, implementation and maintenance of effective benefit plans that support and promote employee well-being. May suggest process improvements. Responsible for executing one large or multiple smaller benefits projects and programs. Work consistently complies with legal and regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures. May provide guidance to more junior team members. Is beginning to influence some parts of the benefits strategy for the organization. Serves as a point of contact for vendors. Receives standard vendor issues escalated by more junior team members and works toward resolution. Manages vendor billing and timelines for contracted work. Independently provides guidance to managers, HR Business Partners and employees on benefits questions, issues and claims escalated through the People Center. Issues and claims handled are often complex and require non-standard solutions. Independently conducts research on benefits programs and gathers competitive intelligence to contribute to the development and implementation of best-in-class programs that align with business needs. May enlist the assistance of more junior professionals and/or review and approve their work and recommendations. Executes strategic plans and initiatives in partnership with vendors and at the direction of more senior professionals. Assesses vendor proposals, narrows options and makes tactical recommendations based on expected results desired outcomes and success measures. No direct reports,,, provides guidance to more junior professionals. May lead a project team where leadership skills are required. Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of total work experience is preferred. Prior Benefits experience preferred..
