The pay range for this position in Plymouth is $119,700 to $167,580
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Sr. Product Sourcing Engineer- Medical Devices

Your role:
- Drive early engagement in innovation by partnering with Advanced Development (AD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that maximize value for Philips and its customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and R&D to leverage supplier-originated innovations, conducting early supplier innovation events to integrate new technologies into product concepts.
- Optimize design and manufacturing by standardizing components, influencing design specifications to enhance product value, cost efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
- Lead sourcing strategy and supplier readiness by developing and executing sourcing plans that align with technical, quality, cost, and risk targets, ensuring a seamless transition from development to manufacturing.
- Establish cost roadmaps and competitive benchmarks to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and risk while ensuring NPI project goals are successfully met.
You're the right fit if:
- You've acquired 6+ years of experience in product development in a technical role. Experience with reprocessing medical products, structural heart and cardiac devices such as catheter-based systems, transcatheter devices, delivery systems, stents, or intracardiac ultrasound preferred.
- Your skills include strong technical expertise in diverse supplier technologies (e.g., molding, metals, extrusions), engineering and technology domain knowledge, project management, DfX methodology, cost analysis (Product Should Cost/Tear Down), and statistical methods.
- You have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- You're an influential thought leader with a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, recognized for your impact across the organization. You must also be able to travel up to 10-20% of the time to Philips sites and suppliers as needed.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
