Hydraulic System Engineer Job Summary

A leading provider of industrial flow control solutions is seeking a Hydraulic System Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing hydraulic control systems for actuators, collaborating with production teams to address manufacturing and supply chain challenges, and offering technical support to the sales department. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure hydraulic systems are effectively designed, integrated, manufactured, installed, and maintained. A strong knowledge of hydraulic components, such as solenoids, control valves, and accumulators, along with experience interfacing these systems with PLCs and controllers, is essential.

Hydraulic System Engineer Responsibilities
  • Develop hydraulic actuator control systems using CAD software.
  • Partner with project managers and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic systems, including valves and related components.
  • Conduct simulations and analyze performance data to confirm compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Perform rigorous testing to validate system performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Create and oversee maintenance schedules for installed hydraulic systems.
  • Provide technical assistance to sales and customer support teams, addressing inquiries related to hydraulic system functionality.
Hydraulic System Engineer Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with hydraulic systems, including actuator design and integration.
  • In-depth understanding of fluid dynamics, mechanical systems, and hydraulic principles.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Expertise in hydraulic components such as solenoids, control valves, and accumulators, and their integration with PLCs and controllers.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
