Required qualifications for this position:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Facilities Management Preferred
- Three years' leadership and/or management experience in custodial, maintenance, and/or transportation operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of school district operations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as Board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Facilities & Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operations of all district buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Transportation: Manage student transportation services, including bus scheduling, driver oversight, and safety compliance.
- Safety & Security: Develop and implement district-wide safety and emergency preparedness plans in collaboration with local agencies.
- Budget & Compliance: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and adherence to policies and regulations.
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise operations staff, including facilities managers, transportation coordinators, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with school administrators, district leadership, and community partners to align operational functions with district goals.
