Position Snapshot
As a Provider Coach, you will guide and support home care agencies in achieving sustainable growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has experience in home care and extensive knowledge of Medicaid, Veteran Affairs, Personal Care, and other third-party payers. This role combines strategic planning, operational improvement, and team coaching to help agencies expand their services while maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality care. This position will report to the Vice President of Customer Experience.

This role combines strategic planning, operational improvement, and team coaching to help agencies expand their services while maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality care. Core Responsibilities
- Develop customized growth strategies for home care agencies, focusing on expanding revenue streams through Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, Personal Care services, and other third-party payer programs
- Identify new market opportunities and assist agencies in diversifying their payer mix
- Guide agencies in optimizing their operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide insights into best practices for billing, coding, and documentation for third-party payer programs
- Mentor agency leaders and staff on effective strategies for scaling their operations
- Conduct training sessions on payer-specific requirements, eligibility criteria, and service delivery models
- Assist agencies in establishing and maintaining relationships with Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, and other third-party payers
- Stay updated on changes in reimbursement policies and share relevant information with agencies
- Analyze agency performance metrics to identify growth barriers and provide actionable recommendations
- Develop tools and resources to track progress and measure success
- Ensure agencies adhere to regulatory standards and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular reviews to verify compliance with payer-specific guidelines and protocols
- This role will require travel to client locations for on-site consultations and training sessions, with approximately 20%-40% travel required annually
- Other related duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the home care industry, with a focus on Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, Personal Care services, and other third-party payer systems
- In-depth knowledge of payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop data-driven growth strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and ability to adjust strategies in response to market changes
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in healthcare management or payer-specific training programs are a plus
