The Scheduler/Controls Engineer will serve as a corporate-level resource, responsible for the centralized scheduling, resource allocation, and performance tracking of all company assigned projects. This strategic role requires a highly organized individual with advanced analytical skills, a deep understanding of electrical construction, and the ability to coordinate across multiple project teams and departments. The Scheduler/Controls Engineer will drive consistency, optimize resource utilization, and provide leadership with insights to support company-wide decision-making.

- Develop, maintain, and update master schedules for all assigned projects using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Establish standardized scheduling protocols and ensure alignment with company objectives across 40+ concurrent projects.
- Monitor critical paths, identify scheduling conflicts, and collaborate with project managers to resolve delays proactively.
- Oversee the allocation of labor, equipment, and materials across all assigned projects, ensuring optimal utilization of the company's workforce and assets.
- Analyze resource demands, forecast needs, and adjust allocations to balance workloads and meet project deadlines.
- Work with field supervisors and procurement teams to address resource shortages or surpluses effectively.
- Integrate project budgets with schedules to provide a unified view of cost and timeline performance for leadership.
- Track high-level cost trends and variances for assigned projects, partnering with project managers to maintain financial control.
- Support the preparation of corporate-level forecasts and resource-loaded schedules.
- Develop and maintain company-wide dashboards and KPIs (e.g., schedule adherence, resource efficiency, earned value) for all qualifying projects.
- Provide monthly executive reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities across the project portfolio.
- Conduct portfolio-level risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate schedule or resource-related challenges.
- Establish and enforce consistent Scheduler/Controls processes, tools, and best practices across all projects.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of scheduling and resource management software to support scalability.
- Train project managers and team leads on corporate scheduling and resource allocation protocols.
- Act as a key liaison between project managers, operations, HR, and senior leadership to align project execution with corporate goals.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide data-driven insights on capacity, workload, and resource planning.
- Facilitate cross-project coordination meetings to resolve conflicts and optimize company-wide performance.
- Ensure scheduling and resource allocation practices comply with company policies, client contracts, and industry standards.
- Maintain a centralized repository of schedules, resource plans, and performance data for audits and historical analysis.
- Follow safety protocols.

Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of electrical construction workflows, resource demands, and project dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) with experience in resource-loaded scheduling.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or project management systems (e.g., Procore, Sage).
- Experience with earned value management (EVM) and resource optimization techniques.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence and coordinate across teams.
- Proactive problem-solver with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Ability to manage high-level oversight of 40+ concurrent projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Education, Qualifications, & Experience (include but not limited to):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Scheduler/Controls, with at least 3 years in a multi-project or portfolio-level role, ideally in electrical construction or a similar industry.
- PMP, CCP, or scheduling-specific certifications (e.g., PMI-SP) are highly desirable.
